No COVID this year, however I was unable to attend as cataract surgery the day before the awards ceremony kept me home. Awarding the Crosby Army ROTC Scholarship to a very deserving young cadet at Embry-Riddle in Daytona Beach will have to be done by a member of the ROTC staff.
This year’s awardee is Cadet Caroline Kragh. If that name sounds familiar it’s because Caroline was inspired to pursue Army ROTC after seeing her brother, Thomas, do the same at ERAU. Thomas was awarded last year’s Crosby Scholarship!
Cadet Kragh is from Bel Air, Maryland. She is a junior at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University studying Aerospace Physiology with minors in Chemistry and Psychology.
Cadet Kragh holds a 3.9 GPA and hopes to commission into the Medical Service Corps. She plans to pursue a master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies upon graduating.
Outside of ROTC, Cadet Kragh is an executive council member of Sigma Kappa and works part time as a chemistry tutor on campus. Her hobbies include working out, taking care of her rescue dog, and relaxing at the beach.
